The Kings 2065-11-9 is a true 75-ohm BNC connector designed for compatible Mini RG59 coaxial cable. Its compact cable compatibility makes it useful for professional broadcast racks, routers, multiviewers, fly packs and other high-density SDI installations.
The Kings 2065-2-9 provides a true 75-ohm BNC interface for compatible RG59 coax. RG59 is widely used in professional video systems where a balance of cable size, durability and transmission performance is required.
The Kings 2065-10-9 is a true 75-ohm BNC connector for compatible RG6 coaxial cable. RG6 is commonly selected when lower attenuation and longer professional video runs are priorities.
Need to connect two professional SDI cables together? The Canare BCJ-JK is a professional 75-ohm BNC female-to-female coupler designed for coaxial video signal paths.
It allows two male BNC cable assemblies to be joined without changing the physical cable connectors.
Common BCJ-JK applications:
Remember: When two SDI cables are connected, their lengths are cumulative. A 50 ft cable connected to another 50 ft cable creates approximately a 100 ft cable path, plus the additional connection point.
Professional SDI video systems use a nominal 75-ohm transmission path. The cable, connectors, couplers and other components in that path all contribute to overall signal integrity.
A connector fitting physically does not automatically mean it is the correct component for professional SDI video.
Using properly matched 75-ohm components becomes especially important as signal bandwidth increases from HD-SDI and 3G-SDI to 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI.
Mini RG59
Choose a connector specifically designed for the exact Mini RG59 coax being terminated.
RG59
Use a properly matched true 75Ω BNC connector for the RG59 construction.
RG6
RG6 requires a connector designed for the larger cable dimensions and construction.
Joining Two BNC Cables
Use a professional 75Ω female-to-female coupler such as the Canare BCJ-JK.
Do not select a BNC connector based only on the general cable family. Verify compatibility with the specific coaxial cable being terminated.
Professional BNC connectivity is used throughout broadcast facilities, production trucks, studios, live events, fly packs, houses of worship and professional AV installations.
Common equipment includes:
If you need finished professional cable assemblies rather than individual connectors, AV-Cables offers SDI and BNC cable assemblies in Mini RG59, RG59 and RG6 constructions.
Available options include 6G-SDI, 12G-SDI, BNC, HD-BNC, DIN 1.0/2.3 and custom multi-channel configurations.
Connector compatibility depends on the coaxial cable, application and required SDI performance. Contact AV-Cables if you need help matching a connector or complete cable assembly to your professional video system.
