PowerCON-style connectors must not be connected or disconnected while energized or under load. Always turn off and disconnect the power source before connecting or removing a cable. Follow the equipment manufacturer's linking instructions and never exceed the rating of the lowest-rated cable, connector or device in the power chain.

What is a PowerCON link cable?
A PowerCON link cable connects the compatible power-output port of one device to the power-input port of another device. Equipment should only be linked when permitted by its manufacturer.
Should I choose 14/3 or 12/3 AWG?
Choose 14/3 AWG for flexible short equipment connections through 15 feet. Choose 12/3 AWG for demanding equipment, reduced voltage drop or runs longer than 15 feet.
Why are the connectors blue and gray?
Blue identifies the power-input connection and gray identifies the power-output connection. The connector types are mechanically keyed differently and are not interchangeable.
Can multiple devices be linked together?
Only when the equipment manufacturer permits power linking. Always follow the device's maximum linked-unit and electrical-load requirements.
