Four full-size conductors
Four 12 AWG conductors provide two complete contact pairs in one rugged assembly. Use this cable only with equipment designed for the 1+/1− and 2+/2− pin configuration.
Green identification
Green connector coding identifies this as the four-conductor version. It helps crews distinguish the full four-contact assembly from the brown-coded 12/2 cable during setup and strike.

Frequently asked questions
Are all four speakON contacts connected?
Yes. The cable connects 1+ to 1+, 1− to 1−, 2+ to 2+ and 2− to 2−. Always verify that this mapping matches the amplifier and speaker specifications.
Do I need four conductors for a standard passive speaker?
Not necessarily. Many conventional passive-speaker connections use only 1+ and 1−. For those systems, see the 12/2 speakON speaker cable.
Will this automatically bi-amp my speaker?
No. The connected equipment must be designed and configured for the required multi-way or dual-circuit operation. Follow the amplifier and speaker manufacturers' wiring instructions.
